RUF BRIQUETTING SYSTEMS
The RUF Hydraulic briquetting press produces a specific pressure of up to 5000 kg/cm2. A mechanical press is designed as an eccentric press. A continuously rotating eccentric shaft connected to a plunger presses the raw material through a conic die. In mechanical presses the counter pressure required can only be adjusted by installing a die with a different conicity or different length. The advantages of briquetting metal chips are reduction of volume and squeezing out cooling lubricants. In briquetting wood chips, reduction of volume and compacting dust reduces the risk of explosion.
